Color of the Day 210

***Please note that I color using the lightest color first, dark, medium and back to light.  I only slightly blend the edge of the last color placed.  Then add the shadow.

If you miss one of the combo's you can find it on the side of the blog labeled "Color of The Day".  Please realize that your computer screen and printer can change the way you see it or how the colors print, but if you try it yourself you will get some fun combos...promise!

Also, feel free to pin them.  I ask that you do not sell them printed out, do not place them on your personal blog but rather link to mine.  These are for personal use only.   Leave me some love if you want to see more!

Thank you to all my followers and fans from all over the world.

Fun Times! Tracing Memories

Because I am a Copic teacher I rarely get to take a class.  I love expanding my knowledge so I can teach others through my eyes, having studied through experience and knowledge of others.  Scraps Of Love hosted a class last Thursday "Tracing Memories" with Instructor Marianne Walker, Regional Copic Certified Instructor and North American product Director.  I had so much fun.  The only problem I had was Marianne wanted the strokes of the marker to be a little more "free".  Things don't always have to be perfectly blended to be beautiful and she showed amazing samples to prove that.  Because I am so accustom to staying within the lines this was a little outside my box.  But guess what?  I am gonna learn to be a little more free with my strokes when it comes to free form artwork.
In this class she took a photograph and converted it to line art.  Not all the lines are in the image and we get to "see" the placement of the color where there are no lines to create what we see in the photo.  Here is the end result of my work.  I hope to color this again with more "free" form strokes....but I was able to get this finished and I am quite pleased with it.  Be sure and get in this class in your local area if Copic hosts one in your town.  Thank you Marianne for sharing your talents!  Be sure and check out her work on her blog HERE.

A Sunny Ride

If you are in mid winter wonderland you might want to warm up by coloring this sweet stamp.  Do you want to practice wood grain?  This is the perfect stamp.  I love metal against wood and Stampendous captured this perfectly.  I found this card in my draft folder...so i guess it is time to share it.

Dies To Die For!

Oh My Goodness!  A die with stitches to form a stair step card...that fits into a regular cut/emboss machine like a Big Shot?  FOR REALS?!  This new die by By Diezynes is amazing.  As you can see I used it on its side (just to be different) and I love how it turned out.  I used my NEW RELEASED stamp to complete this card.  You can find the Dies HERE at CC Designs.

Getting Stitchy with Dies - By Diezyne

Welcome friends to the premier of By DIEzyne Dies presented by C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps and Designer Rhea Weigand, Passionate Paper Creations, llc.

We have an exciting weekend planned starting right here, right now!

I love stitching so this die is perfect!  I got to even use one of my new released stamps.  I think they make the perfect combination.  Don't you?  You can get this stamp HERE.

By DIEzyne Dies were created for the Color Artist.  As Color Artist we love to color most of all.  Making them into cards can be challenging.  With By DIEzyne it makes this part of designing easier!

There are:
Card Making Dies
Dies that help complete layouts
Mixing and Matching is easy
All dies have pierce or stitch marks!

MOST IMPORTANTLY:
The focal point of the dies are large enough to accommodate our Colored Images!
You can easily create "Clean and Simple" Designs or "Fussy and Detailed" with lots of your favorite embellishments and ribbons.

The party is going all weekend!!!!
There are going to be contest, games, random drawings and whatever else we think of :)
We have tons of prizes to give away!!!!!!!
