New to my heart are these adorable stamps by SimplyBettyStamps. They are such characters. They have some Digi's too. I have been looking for just the right fit in my style of coloring, and have found them finally. Betty draws characters with nice eyes, great hair and faces as well as just all around cuteness with a slight warped design. It just fits ME! Here is my first one colored for you. You can get it HERE on her site.
Thank you to all the incredible, talented ladies who attended the Arizona Copic Retreat 2011. What a fun, FILLED weekend we had. Everything went pretty smoothly for 38 gals all in the same room and I am looking forward to planning the next one. Rumor has it Jacksonville, Florida in April of 2012!
Are you ready for the next DoodleDragon Studios challenge on Dustin's Blog? Go HERE to get the details...but they are pretty simple. 1. Use one of his images. 2. Use Halloween theme colors. Just that simple...oh yah, and upload using the Inlinks froggy button on his blog. You could win a free image, and we all like free right?
Here is my card for inspiration.
This image was a freebie on his blog, as he always gives one away on wednesdays. Did you know that?
The retreat is less then 2 weeks away and the books are printed, goody bags made up, classes prepped and pens refilled. I am very excited as we are crammed packed full of techniques and a wonderful group of 40 people! Be looking for the next retreat by DoveArtStudios (Jennifer Dove) in your area. If your interested in hosting a retreat please let me know and we will see if I can get you on the schedule. You won't want to miss it! Here are a few samples of the Bonus classes given in addition to the 24 hours of other techniques in this 2 1/2 day retreat.
It's the first Saturday of the month, and that means it's time again for a new challenge with the Stampendous team! This month, to kick thing off and celebrate World Card Making Day, we are looking towards the holidays AND trying to keep it Clean and Simple. That's right - we are making Clean and Simple (CAS) holiday cards!! You'll see a few team members showing off more than one card today; some chose to make one CAS and then take that design and showcase how to "step it up". Others chose to make sets of CAS holiday cards that could be given as gifts or used to make a dent in the Christmas card list. (this challenge is even a challenge for me as I am layerer (yah i know its not a word..but that's what I do)!
Our challenge to you this month is to join us in making CAS (clean and simple) holiday cards. We want to help you get into the holiday spirit, so this month we are giving away a Cling Jumbo Sparkle Joy set to a random winner. You don't have to use a Stampendous image or products to play along, but we sure love it when you do! You have until Thursday, November 3 at 11:59 PM EST to add your link to the linky tool, and we'll draw a random winner. You can enter as many times as you'd like.
Here is little Changito "all tangled up"! I just adore this image...reminds me of when I get to take out my Christmas lights every year. Image is called Changito Tree Lights and you can get it HERE
And now lets pimp it up a bit...cause simple just isn't for everyone!
