I finally got around to altering my ATG gun (Just4funcrafts.com carries these as well as the adhesive). I had some "Camo" grey/green spray paint...almost a puke brown if you ask me...and sprayed the whole gun with that color. I masked the clear side off first of course. Then I cut flourishes out of vinyl and put them on the adhesive gun. Well I am limited on colors in the garage but had some purple, so I sprayed it with purple and then removed the vinyl to reveal the camo grey/green paint. I added some sheer flowers and shimmer brads (Just4funcrafts.com will be carrying these products soon), to the main part of the gun, and drilled a hole in the end of the gun for a binder clip so I can hang it in my studio when not in use. I sprayed some grungeboard hinges with the purple and added it to the other side. There you have it....officially altered!
Nothing like turning a "cootie catcher" (a kid game made out of paper), into something fun. Thanks Rachele for the great class I took while at your house on Friday. We had fun, food and friendship. Here is my project. I made mine to put some of these cute HEART TINS in it, filled with Easter candy for an Easter gift.

Yes, I am. This was made from a kit that Just4funCrafts will be carring in the near future. It's a Sunflower Pot. The sunflower comes off the top and there is a hidden space in the pot to stash small stuff. How cool is this!?! I sprayed it with Glimmer Mist to make it shimmer. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to make...maybe less if I wasn't getting up and running around. This is a "must have" project for all quillers as well as beginners. This is the 3rd thing I have made quilling and if I can do it, so can you! Now back to my regular crafts as I have some catching up to do...

Yes, that is Quilled, instead of thrilled. CHA was very overwhelming. So much to see that your mind gets over stimulated. There were many new items, and I will be bringing in a few but for now its all about me and my new found love. Quilling! I was delighted to work the booth next to Quilled Creations. The talented Author/Owner of Quilled Creations showed me her products and artwork and I was blown away. Not just your normal flat card quilling, but beautiful 3D quilling (which is what sucked me in). Last night I made my first piece of art using the quilling technique. I am very rough around the edges but with practice I will get it perfect. Thank you Alli for your inspiration! Just4funcrafts will be carrying this quilling line in the near future.

I have been busy getting ready for the CHA trade show. I am excited and its just 2 days away before I hop on a airplane to Aneheim California where I will get to work with my friends at the Creative Impressions Booth. I will be hangin with the gals for 4 days so I thought I would make them all little roommate gifts. This is what I came up with...and yes, they are filled with chocolate! Each one has a different type of flower...felt, mylar and sheer....this is part of their new line of flowers. Just4Fun crafts will be selling them as soon as the shipment comes in. I am still trying to decide which one is my favorite....

Well my friend Sandy is running off on a Cutter cruise in the beginning of March. She is teaching classes for the Klic-N-Kut cutter, which is the best cutter out there...I know, because I have one. So as a giveaway prize I made a few KNK manuals for her. This is one of them. I used the BindItAll to bind it, and tons of buttons from Just4funcrafts. Have you seen how many buttons come in the "bag O Buttons", and the colors are yummy. Well, to all those heading out on the cruise..have fun without me, count me in on the next cruise.
So, I actually got 3 large projects done in 1 day. Must have been the coffee. I needed to do 22 ATC cards for a swap I signed up for. I just finished. I used prima flowers (doesnt everything I do have flowers?), Siloutte Paper by CTMH, House Mouse stamp, and lots of ink.

How about some color to put some cheer in ones life....I made this fairy card for a friend who could use some cheer right now with the recent loss of her mother-in-law. Fairy Stamp is from Stamp Happens. Colors used are lime, magenta, and cream. I made a ribbon bow to match. You can watch a tutorial on how to make your own ribbon bow created by pam Bassett. I water colored in the image and layered everything up for a 3D affect. The wings are popped, as well as the flowers and leaves. I hope it puts some cheer into your day!
